Planning ranges from published clinic prices, not an offer. The graft number that drives the price can only be set after an examination.

How to read the result

  • Most Turkish clinics price a package rather than a per-graft rate, which is why the same 3,000 grafts can be quoted at very different totals.
  • A clinic-only price is not cheaper if you then book a hotel, transfers and a translator yourself. Compare the whole trip, not the headline.
  • DHI costs more because it is slower and needs more technician time per graft — not because the transplanted hair grows differently.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a hair transplant cost in Turkey?

Most all-inclusive packages for 2,500 to 3,500 grafts fall between roughly €1,800 and €3,500, with premium surgeon-performed procedures reaching €4,000 to €6,000. The same procedure costs £6,000 to £12,000 in the UK, €5,000 to €10,000 in Germany and $10,000 to $18,000 in the United States, where per-graft pricing is the norm. The wide range inside Turkey reflects who performs the procedure, how many patients a clinic takes per day, and what the package actually includes.

Why is a hair transplant so much cheaper in Turkey?

Lower costs around the procedure rather than a lower standard of one. Staff salaries, clinic rent and hospital fees are a fraction of western European levels, the exchange rate does the rest, and the sheer concentration of clinics in Istanbul has pushed prices down further. The part that varies is labour: much of the extraction and implantation in a high-volume clinic is done by trained technicians under supervision rather than by the surgeon. That is legal and can be done well, but it is the single biggest difference between a €2,000 package and a €5,000 one, and you should ask about it directly.

What should an all-inclusive package include?

At a minimum: the consultation and blood tests, the procedure itself with the graft number stated, medication and the aftercare kit, the first wash at the clinic, hotel nights with breakfast, all airport and clinic transfers, and an interpreter. Things that are frequently excluded and should be asked about: PRP sessions, a second session if one is needed, follow-up beyond the first month, and any revision. Get the graft number and what happens if it turns out to be higher on the day, in writing, before you pay a deposit.
